Lean into God (Psalm 46)

These days I see a lot of people fearful. More and more people are becoming aware of the increased cost of living, food shortages, rolling black outs, and natural disasters increasing with frequency and intensity. How should we handle this fear? What should we do?

Lean into God with every fiber of your being. Every day, throughout the day, lean into God in prayer, in His Word, and in worship, and He will give you rest.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Psalm 46:1-3 [1] God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. [2] Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; [3] Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.

Whatever it is that you're going through, whether it is fear of how hard the times ahead will get, physical illness, or a loss, when we lean into God with our whole heart, mind and spirit, we find out that God is truly all that we need.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God.

The more time that we take each day to be still before God, the more we will be filled with His presence, strength and peace.

Whatever you're going through, whatever fear your dealing with, give it to God. Just tell Him, "Lord, even in this, I trust You!" Lean into God and He will help you breathe!
