Bible Bites - Ears to Hear

Bible Bites - Ears to Hear

Do You Have Ears to Hear End Times Prophecy?

Most people want to plug their ears and turn away when they see events occurring that coincide with End Times Bible Prophecy.

The problem with this is Jesus said in Revelation 1:3"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near."

I think we are blessed in three ways through Bible Prophecy:

  • (1) Reads: Jesus told us in Matthew 24:4 "Watch out that no one deceives you." Reading/studying what the Bible tells us about Bible Prophecy blesses us by giving us the wisdom to recognize and protect ourselves from the deception that is growing around us.

  • (2) Hears: When we truly "hear" what is happening in our time was foretold in Scripture, we are blessed with the assurance that God is in control, we don't need to worry, we just need to trust Him.

  • (3) Heeds: We are blessed when we realize God has put us here at this time for a purpose. He has given us a mission and a message to share with those around us (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). As we "heed" His calling in our lives, we are filled with the overwhelming blessing of His presence and His joy.

So let's stay alert, fill our lamps with oil and prepare to meet our bridegroom who promises to rescue us from the wrath to come (Matthew 25:1-13, 1 Thessalonians 1:10).

Be blessed!
